From a parody page of SyFy execs on Facebook. They also made a similar pic, “Sharkalanche: Snow is frozen water, the science is sound!”
Born and raised, wouldn’t have it any other way!

A picture by artist Thomas Kinkade, made after the 9-11 attacks. No post of my own today, just a way to remember the day.
For those from other countries that died, I include you in this tribute. You were on American soil, that flag honors you as well.
I’ve told my story before, but here I will tell it again, briefly. I had to work that day, but not until 11am. So I was still sleeping when the first tower hit, and was only barely awake for the second one because a friend called me. I got ready for work in front of the tv that day, as much as I could.
I worked at a gas station. Because of the fact that it was a terror attack, many stations feared shortages and raised their prices. My boss did, but only a little bit, and only to try to deter some of the traffic. It didn’t help. We were busier that day than any day before or since. People were scared. Even with the extra traffic, people were quiet when they’d come in, so we could hear the news on the radio.
A coworker had her birthday that day. She was a mess, and another coworker ended up coming in and we sent her home. Every year I wonder how she does this day.
I did not know anyone there, I did not lose anyone. But that doesn’t mean I do not feel the tragedy of the day. Thousands killed for no reason. The bravery shown by so many people is still inspiring to me. I cannot imagine what those people and the families of those lost must go through, but they will always be in my thoughts.
I love that crazy dog!
